Know what you own
Research is the starting point for every investment decision.
Pennsylvania-registered investment adviser
A thoughtful, long-term approach to equity investing—grounded in careful research, disciplined decisions, and a clear understanding of each family’s goals.
Prudence in the process. Patience in the portfolio.
Ashram Capital manages equity-oriented portfolios for individuals and families with long horizons. We seek businesses with durable potential, while recognizing that growth investing can involve meaningful volatility and periods of uncertainty.
Each relationship begins with the investor: their objectives, time horizon, liquidity needs, and comfort with risk. Those details shape a portfolio and guide decisions as conditions change.
Research is the starting point for every investment decision.
Portfolio choices are considered in the context of the client’s plan.
A long-term perspective helps keep short-term noise in context.
A flexible structure, built around you
Portfolios may draw from four complementary components. Their relative size and composition depend on each client’s circumstances and may change over time.
Established, high-quality businesses intended to anchor long-term growth.
Businesses with meaningful growth potential and a developing record of execution.
Selective exposure to emerging opportunities with higher uncertainty and risk.
Where suitable, a limited role for covered calls or cash-secured puts on securities the firm is willing to own.
Client portfolios are managed without margin or leverage. Options are not appropriate for every client and involve additional risks.
A focused advisory relationship
Ashram Capital primarily serves individuals and families seeking long-term capital appreciation and a direct relationship with their investment adviser.
The approach may suit investors who can tolerate equity market fluctuations, have a multi-year time horizon, and maintain adequate resources for near-term spending outside the managed portfolio.

Source: Schwab PortfolioConnect account-group reports. These are reported results for actual managed accounts, not hypothetical model returns. Net time-weighted returns reflect advisory fees deducted from the included accounts. Actual fee arrangements may differ, and individual client returns may differ due to fees, cash flows, holdings, restrictions, and the timing of investment. The figures are account-group results, not a claim that every client earned the displayed return.
Reporting start dates are the dates shown in the source reports, not the firm's founding date. Since-start returns and their benchmarks cover each row's reporting start through Sep 30, 2026. Different start dates limit comparisons between groups. All Modelled Accounts is an aggregate reporting group, not a separate investment strategy or a statement of firm-wide performance. Rows must not be added together.
The S&P 500 total return benchmark includes reinvested dividends and does not deduct advisory fees. It is an unmanaged index that cannot be invested in directly. Its composition, risk, and cash exposure differ from the account groups, particularly Optionality, which may use options. Short-period results can be affected substantially by market conditions and portfolio positioning.
Short-term Treasury comparison: SGOV is the iShares 0-3 Month Treasury Bond ETF, used here as an investable proxy for short-term U.S. Treasury bills, not as a direct Treasury investment or an equity benchmark. Cumulative NAV total returns include reinvested distributions and fund expenses; they do not deduct Ashram advisory fees or investor taxes and trading costs. Values cover each row's start date through the as-of date, using the previous business day's NAV as the starting value. Treasury bills and equity portfolios have different risks and objectives. SGOV's share value can fluctuate and is not guaranteed. A higher return does not establish that additional risk was worthwhile. Source: BlackRock / iShares historical NAV and distribution data.
